Aguante [Withstand]. 2013
Action organized into five “resistance excercises” in which the artist and several assistants support the weight of a piece of steel, wood and plaster, enduring the force made by an excavator to rip its surface. An asymmetric situation of power relations is staged in this action, by confronting machine and human strength.
