Declaración formada por treinta y siete esculturas [Statement formed by thirty seven sculptures]. 2014
Installation of 37 sculptures made of recovered carboard in steel frames.
Each piece is a letter of the phrase pronounced in 1933 by German painter Max Liebermann as a response to the rise of nazism in Germany,: “I cannot eat as much, as I would like to puke” (in Spanish translation).
Centro Cultural por la Memoria Haroldo Conti, Buenos Aires.
The work was made with the support of a “Cartoneros” organization, relating the political meaning of that movement in Argentina to the anti-facism significance of the phrase.
