2013 – Map outlined with slaughtering tools

Action that consisted on carving (somehow “drawing”) on a wall of the gallery, the map of Mexican federal high security prison CEFERESO No. 1 “Altiplano”, using as tools a butcher knife, a hatchet, a large ax and a chainsaw (tools used by Mexican narcotrafficants to slaughter their victims).
The development of this project comes from the reflection on the due punishment for the heinous crimes committed by drug cartels in Mexico and on the operation of the prison system, which leads to a questioning to the system of law enforcement itself and how public opinion considers it.
